Dream In Color: BookClub Sponsors

Everyone looks to find relatable books to read! Books serve as a representation, that can expand beyond everyday life. The freedom to choose what books one wants to read reflects like a mirror in our eyes. Without that reflection, dreaming could be hindered beyond or completely impeded.

About The Event

Instructional fads come and go but the needs and desires of developing minds remain constant. The more consistent access that our scholars have to reading material which allows them to dream beyond their current existence, the further their imaginations can take them.

This is the endeavor of our Dream In Color BookClub, providing students of single parent and/or homeless family households with reading material which they can see themselves in.

Reading is one of the constants that every student in the world deserves! The sooner reading starts, the sooner that students can begin to Dream In Color for their own rich and dynamic futures.

The pleasure and meaning found in the pages of books nurtures a love for reading. That love is the rightful work of not only authors but readers everywhere and more importantly, anyone can help to facilitate this process.

That is why we are requesting book donations and/or monetary donations so we can purchase books to provide for deserving families. Providing books is not just a nice thing to do, it’s an essential thing to do in order to increase literacy achievements around the globe and begin The Dream.

The William James & Rosa Lee Little Foundation #itsrosaswill will be accepting book donations and monetary donations through donor and organizational partnerships to do our part in increasing literacy as a way of Embracing Families in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area school districts. These partnerships will make our collective give more impactful within our communities.

If you would like to donate. Click on the donate button below so your organization can donate new books to assist in Empowering the developing minds of our young scholars to Dream In Color.

If you are from a single and/or homeless parent household, register here today to find out how your child or children can benefit from this program.

We are also working on a partnership with Scholastic which will allow young scholars to receive free books and other items of their own choosing when Scholastic visits their school through this program.

Thank you in advance for your support! And we look forward to Embracing our community with you!
